When lack of investment becomes a liability

Paris Orly Airport recently suffered a major technical hitch, bringing chaos for passengers not because of high tech cyber security issues, but because it runs its air traffic control system on Windows 3.1.

Windows 3.1?  Really?  Windows 3.1 was released 21 years ago!  It's no laughing matter - according to the report, it's not the only airport running antiquated tech either.

When you treat your IT infrastructure and systems like they're a drain on your business, instead of recognising them as tools that keep your business productive, efficient and moving forward, you're asking for trouble.  If you're not investing in your IT, you're not investing in your company's future.  Ever wondered if your competitors are making the same mistake?
