Benefits Management System

The benefits management system we wrote for a major UK brewing group replaced a largely manual process. The system allows separate package options for each eligible grade, allows individuals’ benefit choices to be quickly checked for problems, and produces all paperwork required for salary changes as well as any related paperwork for the group’s fleet management system.

Several monthly files downloaded from the company’s mainframe are used by the system to keep its lists of employees and benefits up to date.

Credit Control System

This application interfaced with an inflexible accounting system in order to write credit control letters for overdue sales invoices.

Although a relatively small system, it was extremely successful, allowing the company to clear a large volume of small debts with minimal effort and thus freeing the credit controller to deal with the larger debts.

The system would produce letters on a weekly basis with the content of the letter changing based on the age of the debt. At the bottom of each letter, a small statement would show the exact details of the debt.
